Vinegar is awesome.  I use white vinegar to clean just about everything, and as a fabric softener.  Apple cider vinegar is more expensive, so I only use it for consumption.  Consuming apple cider vinegar provides many benefits, including:  weight loss, source of vitamins and minerals, daily detox. 

How I consume ACV: add 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar to 10 ounces of water and 1 TBSP raw honey.  I drink this every morning first thing when I wake up.  It's a great detox after a fast, and tames my morning hunger.  It's supposed to be great for curbing appetites, so drinking it before each meal is ideal.
